Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Data Scientist – Cybersecurity at Visa, you will:
- Analyze cyber event logs using Spark and big data technologies to gain deeper insights into security patterns.
- Devise and implement deep learning models to build user behavior profiles, including data acquisition, feature engineering, model development, and deployment.
- Support and optimize existing analytical models and risk-scoring algorithms.
- Maintain job scheduling tools and data ingestion pipelines for backend databases.
- Develop methods to monitor model effectiveness and performance in production.
- Leverage GenAI for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve cyber investigation efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to design and develop analytical software that enhances security through automation.
- Assist in shaping the overall direction of information security architecture at Visa.
- Communicate data insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership and end users.
