Roles & Responsibilities
As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Canonical, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experience and fostering long-term relationships. This is a strategic position aimed at improving customer retention, enabling product adoption, and ensuring seamless support. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Support & Engagement: Proactively assist customers in solving queries and resolving technical challenges via ticket-based support.
- Onboarding & Enablement: Guide new customers through the onboarding process and introduce them to Canonical’s vast product offerings, including Ubuntu Pro, MAAS, OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, and more.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring they maximize value from Canonical products.
- Product Adoption & Expansion: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to drive customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks such as churn or dissatisfaction and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
- Data & Feedback Analysis: Gather insights from customer interactions and present them to internal teams to improve product offerings and services.
Who Can Apply?
Educational Qualification:
- Any Graduate (B.A, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BCA, M.A, M.Com, MBA, etc.).
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer-facing skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Passion for technology, infrastructure, and open-source software, especially Ubuntu.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to structure and update documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships efficiently.
- Knowledge of additional languages (Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, or Italian) is a plus.
