Job Overview
Cognizant is looking for skilled and creative Graphic Designers who understand visual design principles and are proficient in digital media tools. In this role, you will support various client-driven projects involving content visualization, branding, e-learning assets, motion graphics, and social media content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop icons, infographics, characters, and data visualizations tailored to client needs.
- Create motion graphics and video-based presentations using modern design tools.
- Apply design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout best practices.
- Adapt designs to suit various formats such as presentations, web assets, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with project and design teams to communicate ideas and concepts.
- Stay updated with industry trends, Gen AI tools, and emerging design technologies.
- Work on tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, MS PowerPoint, and Word.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of digital design principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to visual detailing.
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools is an added advantage.
- Additional knowledge of animation, audio/video editing, game design, 3D, or VR is a bonus.
Educational Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a four-year degree in one of the following:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
- Bachelor of Design (B.Des) / Master of Design (M.Des)
- Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) / Master of Visual Arts (MVA)
- Visual Communication (4-year program)
- Mass Communication (4-year program)
- MA or MSc in relevant fields like Computer Graphics, Animation, Multimedia
Academic Requirements:
- Minimum 50% marks throughout academics (X, XII, Diploma, UG, PG).
- No active backlogs at the time of application or joining.
- Adherence to university norms for CGPA-to-percentage conversion.
- Candidates awaiting re-evaluation results will be assessed based on declared scores.
