About the Role – Junior Engineer (Intern)
As a Junior Engineer Intern at Cornerstone, you will be part of the Quality Engineering (QE) team working on Immerse Product Testing. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to test and improve one of Cornerstone’s flagship products that helps global enterprises manage learning and talent processes seamlessly.
This is not a typical internship — it is an 11-month structured program designed to train you on testing tools, automation frameworks, and product testing methodologies.
By the end of the internship, successful candidates will have hands-on experience in:
- Test automation
- Web application testing
- API testing
- Debugging and scripting
- Using enterprise-level testing tools such as TestRail, Selenium, and Cypress
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand product functionality to assist with software testing.
- Work with the QE lead and contribute to test planning and execution.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using internal tools.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to improve product quality.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure coverage of functional and non-functional test cases.
