India Post has released the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2026 notification for various postal circles across India. For candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, a total of 1,336 GDS vacancies are available.

The vacancies are available for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak posts across different postal divisions.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th/SSC from a recognized board.

Candidates should also have:

  • Mathematics and English as subjects in Class 10.
  • Knowledge of the local language of the applied postal circle.

Selection Process
