Job Overview

Tech Mahindra is hiring Customer Support Representatives (CSR) for its E-commerce Chat Blended Process at the Kolkata office. This is a full-time, permanent position with a fixed salary and career growth opportunities.

As a CSR, you will be responsible for resolving customer queries via chat and calls (if required), ensuring customer satisfaction in the e-commerce domain.

This role requires good communication skills in English and Hindi, strong logical abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Freshers and experienced candidates with at least six months of customer care experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Query Resolution

  • Handle customer queries via chat and calls (if required).
  • Provide accurate and timely resolutions to customer issues.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional interaction.

2. Communication & Problem-Solving

  • Use excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Show strong logical reasoning skills to answer e-commerce-related questions.
  • Maintain a polite and customer-friendly approach.

3. Adherence to Shift & Work Requirements

  • Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
  • Be available for 9-hour shifts (8-hour work + 1-hour break).
  • Six-day work week with rotational week-offs.
  • No planned leaves for the first three months after joining.

4. Performance & Accuracy

  • Maintain a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute (WPM) with 90% accuracy.
  • Follow company protocols for handling customer interactions efficiently.
  • Meet performance metrics set by the Operations and Client Teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum Qualification: High School Pass (12th Grade) or above.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication in English and Hindi.
  • Typing Skills: Minimum 30 WPM with 90% accuracy.
  • Logical Reasoning: Ability to handle customer queries related to e-commerce scenarios.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willing to work 24/7 shifts with rotational week-offs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in customer service (minimum six months in chat or blended process preferred).
  • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a BPO or e-commerce chat support role is a plus.

Interview Process

The interview process consists of five rounds, focusing on communication skills, typing ability, and customer service mindset:

  1. HR Round: Basic communication and suitability check.
  2. Typing Test: Assessing speed and accuracy.
  3. Operations (OPS) Round: Evaluating logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  4. PMAP Round: Internal process assessment.
  5. Client Round (Video Call): Final approval from the client.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Structure:

  • Freshers: ₹15,500 per month
  • Candidates with 6+ months of experience: ₹16,400 per month
  • 100% fixed salary (No variable pay deductions)
